The Village of Peace Trailer

The film, which was produced and directed by Ben Schuder and Niko Philipdies, with executive producers Jack Madigan, Aaron McCreary and Amar’e Stoudemire, chronicles the African Hebrew Israelites, a community who migrated from Chicago to Israel in the late 1960s, and intertwines the story of four villagers to provide an in-depth and moving view into the community. The film made its world premiere Jan. 31,2014 at the Santa Barbara International Film Festival before continuing to other film festivals, and, eventually, a TV or cable broadcast premiere.

Thank you for The Village of Peace Trailer you forwarded. The movie struck my heart and soul and brought tears of joy. I am thankful to ALMIGHTY YAH to be a part of the community of Hebrew Israelites here in Nairobi, Kenya and don’t feel so alone any more. I pray YAH ALMIGHTY blesses me to visit and live there as well in peace and harmony and one with YAH and our brothers and sisters. Asante sana for taking the time to forward this to me, peace, love and blessings to The Village of Peace, Sharon

    HalleluYah, Yahkhai! Yahkhai!

This movie has come at the right time for our community. My prayer is that it gets maximum exposure worldwide via the movie theaters, television and cable networks, and that all the jurisdictions organize special showings to reach out to friends and family.

There are many groups out on the streets of Babylon trying to convince our people of their Hebrew identity to much scorn and ridicule by the masses even though they have irrefutable evidence. But this movie is a wake up call for all of those groups and to all the masses because WE ARE actually IN the PROMISED LAND. There is nothing like TRUE TESTIMONY. For through the words of our testimony we overcome. HalleluYah!

This trailer alone is powerful and I am so pleased the production quality and cinematography is at such a high standard. Can’t wait to get this movie on DVD (but only after i!ts made its rounds on the theater circuit)

Let the floodgates of blessings open upon our people!

    Yahkhai! Yahkhai! Ben Ammi Khai!
