An elevation ceremony was held on December 23, 2019, to celebrate the accomplishments of several youth of the African Hebrew Israelites. Youth that participated in the Yah’s Officers Training Corps and in the Preliminary Maintenance Class, were recognized for their service and excellence.
Young Builders
Elrahm Ben Zockriel- a gifted artist, craftsman and builder - decided to take a few young sons under his wing in order to teach them some preliminary maintenance skills that will equip them to do household repairs and start them on their journey as young builders.
Nine sons, ages 9-14 learned about tools and how to use them, (such as drills, hammer drills, etc.) as well as how to fix locks, work with plugs, do small paint repairs and other household repairs. They diligently attended and completed 14 classes.
At the elevation ceremony, Elrahm praised his students for their accomplishments in becoming skillful in all aspects of the course. Each young son received a certificate of completion and a new tool box. Representatives from the Ministry of Divine Building and Maintenance were in attendance to also express their accolades to the students.
Young Protectors
Seven young men and four young women spent three years in the YOTC program receiving classes on self-discipline, character building, basic physical training, self-defense, Divine leadership, crowd control and the geographic, political layout of Israel. They also assisted the Ministry of Divine Security with securing various events and doing night time security rounds for the Village of Peace in Dimona.
Now having elevated, (graduated) they will go into more intensified training and apprentice service within the ministry’s units. (i.e. investigations unit, contingency plans, administration, etc.)
They look forward to more intensified physical training in order to qualify for higher positions and preparatory classes centered on “Culture As a Weapon”, an essential concept and lesson taught by their beloved spiritual leader, Ben Ammi Ben Israel.
This is the third elevation of the Yah’s Officers Training Corps, which was established in 1987 by Crowned Brother Shariel Ben Israel. Many past graduates have since become security captains and been entrusted to travel on good will missions in representation of the African Hebrew Israelites.
