National History Month Celebrations

During this wonderful, New Year, Holy Day season, our community celebrates its National History Month, which is sponsored by The School of the Prophets Institute. We learn from the Headmaster and Dean of the Institute, Dr. Khazriel Ben Yehuda, the meaning and purpose of this month:

In this season, we take time to remember our deliverance, and how we have been led by Ben Ammi, The Anointed, by our leaders and by the spirit of Truth. National History Month is a celebration of our accomplishments and successes for Yah Yahwah, and it keeps us in line with His vision. Also, the act of remembering, increases our brains’neuroplasticity. Neuroscientists call it, ‘The Ancestor Effect': wherein the brain receives physical benefits when we remember, again and again, the challenges, perseverance and success of our ancestors. National History Month promotes our spiritual and physical development.”
This year’s theme is “The Season of the Knowledge of the Genesis Ascension and Realization: A Tribute to His Excellency Ben Ammi - His Life, Legacy, Leadership, Messiahship, Transition and Ascension.” Opening ceremonies were held on March 22, 2015, with a PowerPoint presentation illustrating the theme. The keynote speaker, Prince Hiskiyahu - who is himself a historical icon as the first of the returning Hebrews to enter the Holy Land in 1968 - gave further insight and wisdom on the theme with an incomparable and dynamic testimony!
The month continues with many enjoyable events, which include:
  • A Divine redemptive testimonial tribute given by the Chosen First Fruit who shared their personal experiences with the Holy Father, BenAmmi, and how he inspired, and inspires them still. Their aim is to empower successive Kingdom generations to ascend in the image of Yah while proclaiming, “Father Don’t You Weep! #I Am Ben Ammi”.
  • A national history contest between students of our community high school.
  • Tributes and testimonies from various KOY international jurisdictions.
  • A tribute to the Day of the Show of Strength, and other historical demonstrations of strength.

The closing ceremony is scheduled for April 23, 2015, featuring a keynote speech by Prince Immanuel Ben Yehuda, and the presentation of a lifetime achievement award.

Giving all praises to the Most High Yah Yahuah and gratitude for the wonder ful gift of His Anointed Ben Ammi, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah who prevailed to take the scroll from He who sitteth on the Throne and loose the seven seals. That we may be sealed in perpetuity to His Kingdom, we are fulfilling Daniel 9, “Seventy weeks are determined upon thy nation to finish the transgression, make an end of sin, make reconciliation for iniquity . .”

This “iniquity” for which reconciliation is to be made is a NATIONAL iniquity, not personal. Something was done by our fathers that was attributed to the entire nation as national iniquity.
